Bitumen
Bitumen is obtained by the distillation of petroleum. Modern refineries use the principle of fractional distillation.
Atmospheric distillation takes place in the first stage. The second stage is vacuum distillation, where other components are distilled from the residue of the first stage. What remains is bitumen, or rather, distillate bitumen.
Bitumen has wide-ranging applications and serves various purposes.
It is primarily used in road construction, roofing, building waterproofing, asphalt paving, tunnel lining, and landfill base lining.
Bitumens have varying penetration levels, which we offer for the necessary additional processing.
